Oregon may have once complained about Californians moving to their state. But now they're stampeding to find homes for their senior years.

Portland is the home of Intel and the associated industries involved in the high tech industry.

The coast is where most of my friends are moving. Small towns with names like Coos Bay, Bandon, and the cheese famous Tillamook.

Klamath Falls is the first name in developments.

What I don't hear about are the more eastern, drier, and colder towns like Burns, Ontario, La Grande, and that name that stands for cold, Pendleton.
